Your offshore partner for logistics services in Emden

Since October 2017, we have been operating the logistics hub at our Emden site as a central transshipment point for spare parts and consumables for delivery to offshore converter platforms and onshore stations on behalf of a transmission system operator.

From the logistics hub, a total of 15 offshore connections in the German and Dutch North Sea, as well as at least six converter stations on land, are now regularly supplied with consumables and time-critical offshore components. The entire process requires a high degree of flexibility, adherence to deadlines, fast response times, and good communication.

In recent years, we have continued to expand our expertise in offshore logistics and have thus been able to win further customers from this sector, some of whom are located in the immediate vicinity of the logistics hub and also rely on Weets as a partner for the aforementioned services.

The supply of special offshore containers is ensured by a container depot operated by Weets at the site, which has over 300 containers of various types and sizes that we rent out to our various offshore customers according to their needs and requirements.
These include, for example, 10- and 20-foot offshore refrigerated containers, which can be prepared at the logistics hub by pre-cooling, e.g., for supplying provisions to the individual platforms.
