Your offshore partner for logistics services in Emden

Since October 2017, we have been operating the logistics hub for a transmission system operator at our site in Emden as a central transhipment point for spare parts and consumables, for supplying offshore converter platforms and onshore stations. From the logistics hub, a total of 15 offshore connections in the German and Dutch North Sea, as well as at least six converter stations onshore, are now regularly supplied with consumables, but also with deadline-critical offshore components. The entire process requires a high degree of flexibility, adherence to schedules, fast response times and good communication.

Over the past few years, we have been able to expand our expertise in offshore logistics and thus acquire additional customers in this sector, some of whom are located in the immediate vicinity of the logistics hub and also rely on Weets as a partner for all these services.

The supply of special offshore containers is ensured by a container depot operated by us at the location with almost 300 containers of different types and sizes, which we rent out to our various offshore customers depending on their needs and requirements.

In close cooperation and collaboration with other companies, most of which are also based in East Frisia, we have established a smooth process and a strong venture in the region over the last three years.

This can be any desired loading location. We also offer seaworthy packing of your goods.

The transport of your goods can be carried out with different means of transport. We offer transport by truck, railway or barge.

Export customs clearance

We will be happy to provide you with export customs clearance. So that the goods can be sent safely and without problems.

Harbour services

We will take care of a variety of services (value added services) for you. We organize and supervise your transport.

Import duty

With various customs procedures, we can find the right one for your goods. We ensure the smooth running of your shipment.

Transportation

Transportation can be carried out directly to the recipient using various means of transport. Interim storage is also possible.

Storage

We offer storage space (indoor and outdoor) of 50,000 m², plus office and communal areas. A 4,000 m² customs warehouse completes the package.

We have experience with assembly activities and are happy to offer you this service.

Commissioning

The compiling of certain partial amounts and goods from a total amount is part of our everyday business.
